This rumour is getting louder and louder each day.

It appears as if Leon is certain to go back West.
Leon has sold his house
Travis has been offered the #1 jumper for next year
A deal is yet to be finalised with either of the two WA clubs.
Wirrapunda's name has been mentioned as a straight sawp but not a done deal yet.

People who are (apparently) in the know say it will happen and was agreed to some weeks ago.

Would be sad to see him go. He can be a great player to watch. Would the WC see this as a fair swap though, one player is a proven week in week out player and Leon is showing that he has the ability but not the week in week out consistency.

No Perth team would want him. He's a specialist small forward.

Eagles have Matera Sampi and others including Adkins, whilst Freo have Medhurst and Farmer. Neither need another goalsneak. Matera and Medhurst are amongst the best in the business.

Personally can't see why the Eagles would need Davis, given they already have two of the best goalsneaks in the game (Matera, Sampi). Fremantle probably are in a similar boat with Farmer and Medhurst.

Unless the Perth teams are as dumb as some of our fans and our coaching staff and think that Leon can cut it as an AFL midfielder.

I think that one of the WA teams would pick him up, but very cheaply. Farmer's getting on in years.

If he's got 20 goals and is bad, then how bad are we??? Tarrant, Rocca and Didak are the only ones there at this stage.

Yes, we are very bad that is shown by the fact that Leon was or still is actually getting games this year. If you think that his performances this year have been up to scratch then you must be one of those people saying hang on to BK, stunner and Willo!!!

Davis is a inconcistent small forwards who shows briliance in glimpses that are far to irregular. Get rid of him while we can.

I don't think he's a bad/inconsistent small forward, but he isn't a midfielder's rectum.

Fact is, while we have morons pushing him into the midfield, he's a liability.

I've always said, his role at AFL level should be as a leading small forward ala Matera/Medhurst. He can crumb at spillages and show a bit of arse once every few weeks.

He's shown something as a small forward, but as a midfielder he gets beaten up against the real teams and doesn't do much better against the crap ones either.

So in comclusion, the main reason I want him traded is because Malthouse is too dumb to play some players in the positions they belong in.

I have come to the conclusion that Leon could be a useful receiver on the wing. Unfortunately wing is the best position of R. Shaw, Lonie, Woewodin, Lockyer and possibly Didak. On that basis we don't need Leon unless he can consistently kick goals which he can't do well enough. if we can get a deal for him we should take it. If not there is not much harm in giving him another year so long as he isn't selected ahead of other more deserving of a game and he doesn't hold up the development of B & H Shaw.

u guys cannot be serious, davis was in shocking form at the start of the year. yes he played very well against the dockers, i would like to thank him gratefully for that but he isnt worth wirrapunda. i dont think davis would have much of a chance to even get a go on the bench. we have enough smalls.

we are sniffing around tarrant though, its been reported he wants out of collingwood and a move west might not be out of the question. who would u want if judd wasnt on the table. im not one of those supporters who think 3 duds make a top line player so who do u think?? our first round pick and hansen and either a wirrapunda type or a second round pick??

Judd aside, which is what we'd really be after, perhaps Fletcher plus some change. Won't happen though.
