I think the fact that some of the biggest anti-AVB supporters were over him says a lot. Generally our sackings have 985 fans questioning why but with Sherwood it made a lot of sense. He kept talking up a big game but did nothing better than AVB did. Both got thrashings by City and Liverpool in fact AVB managed a draw against Chelsea so did do better against the big sides. His press conferences were terrible and apart from bringing back Ade and some kids the dressing room was less happy. What was the general consensus among Spurs fans regarding Sherwood? Seems to have split opinion a bit. I reckon he will get another gig in the top flight (was actually mentioned as a possible Pardew replacement if Cashley sacked him but that looks like it won't be happening).
Is there any talk of who might get the job? I read Pochettino a few days ago (sad if true for Southampton who look like they might be gutted losing key players and possibly, a manager).
Pochettino or de Boer are the most likely candidates. I know Pochettino has PL experience butwhat a record de Boer has so far! 4 seasons of management and 4 league titles
