Does anyone here seriously think Lobbe is our best ruck? Our depth could always be improved... no mention in the article of who could come in. Didn't sound like the club was chasing Giles at all.

The more Lobbe does the better he gets even though both he and Redden are well short of 50 games they are still better than any other option likely to become available ...and not a real concern, its still the midfield

Depends on how you look at it. If you look at trading for a ruckman who goes straight in for knee surgery, it looks silly. But he posted good numbers when he did play, so looking forward to him hopefully being fit for next year.

Also looking forward to Burgess working with Redden and turning him into a monster.

yep the knee injury he had turned out to be alot worse than expected and when he did play he was pretty hindered.

Had patella tendon surgery i think in Round 19 so i think once he gets over that, gets a full pre-season in then he will be fine

I saw glimpses of really good football in the games he did get to play in the mid season, and did alot more than both Redden and Lobbe especially in the hitout department

He's almost like the forgotten man of Port. He might surprise us next year. He certainly isnt a dud and has definitely not "failed"

Dittmar is scarily silly. He used to constantly whine about Rodan/Thomas not being picked because they always put it on the line unlike other players.

He's just a nuff nuff. I switched from AA to MMM for games to get away from Crowie.... but in his own numpty way Dittmar is worse because he has no understanding of the game and is basically the embodiment of a facebook commentator.
