Haha that made me realise I honestly have no idea what Valente looks like. Had no clue who it was til I read the comments.

Aish and co
also from the Worst (for the next kW that has a crack at Wilson):

Both Nat Fyfe and David Mundy rank among the AFL’s top ten for score involvements this season, with the midfield bulls pivotal to Fremantle earning shots on goal. So it’s somewhat surprising that neither the 2019 Brownlow winner nor evergreen veteran rank No.1 at the club for score involvements across the past four seasons. That honour goes to Nathan Wilson, who tallied seven in the loss to Brisbane and has had his fingerprints on more scoring chains than any other Docker since 2018. Wilson also racked up 11 rebound-50s against the Lions, a figure bettered by just three Freo players – Luke Ryan, Robbie Haddrill and Scott Thornton – since the stat was first recorded in 1998.

Those names... (bar Ryan of course). Haha.

Shows rebound fifties either aren’t that correlated to a players ability/impact or the said players were just a flash in the pan.

He seemingly played with an invisible vest on yesterday based on the lack of votes he’s receiving on the MVP thread.

He couldn’t even close the tabs on his laptop, was an audio settings tab above his head for the whole interview.

Was still there after the ad break!

He Potted Lobb, so i'm in agreeance with him.
We are fast becoming as irrelevant as Norf, and Longmuir is part of that.
He doesn't command attention, he looks like a rookie, and is a rookie.
Sumich is saying play the kids, and that's what Essendon are doing.
Ours probably aren't as good though.
We'll see this weekend what that means, as the Dons will give us a good touch up.

what kids tho?
Western is close.
Valente is just back from injury.
Thomas and walker don’t look ready.
Odriscoll maybe but looks a pre season away.

that’s about it. Everyone’s playing or injured

What the hell is that dopey idiot even on about?
Which kids Peter?

Western - clearly being groomed for a debut. Was emergency last week and held back from Peel

Valente - Clearly not AFL match fit but building

Giro - C grade ceiling at best

Thomas - Literally the last defender on our list

Walker - Not ready

O’Driscoll - Not even close

Treacy - Looks stuck a level above for WAFL and a level below AFL. He will be a regular Freo B22 by the mid season bye but fair enough you could make a case that he should be in now.

Yeah I’d love to see the text for this.

We would've been in the eight if we'd won any of the games we lost. That includes last week. You don't go into full "play the kids" mode if you're in touching distance of the top eight.

Saying West Coast should play the kids would make just as much sense.
Yep. Put your B22 out and maintain selection integrity until the season is gone. Then roll out the kids that are left for a few looks. Mind you, by then they'll probably all be nursing season ending syndesmosis anyway.

What? Haddrill was quality. Another destroyed by injuries but in the 2 full seasons he got to play he came 4th in the doig the first year we made finals, then came 7th in the doig the next year and was selected in the international team to play Ireland. Then in typical Freo fashion injuries reduced him to 3 games in 2005, 1 game in 2006, and 1 game in 2007.
