crap article it basically said we cant win against top 8 sides and mentioned that JLo has won just 2 out of 9 since Lyons departure :

Lyon : 38 losses / 8 wins = 21%
JL : 9 losses / 2 wins = 22%

So pretty much the same as a inexperienced coach who played 7 out of 17 games at home last year and 3 out of 9 this year

He does have a point that it was trending up under Lyon while taking a step back under JLo. I haven't bothered to check the H&A split for each though - and between the hubs last year and being on the road so much this year I feel like JLo might have had a disproportionate amount of those top 8 clashes away from home.

I liked the analysis of our fixture though - I didn't realise we have such a nice run until R18 after the next mini-tough patch. That combined with 4 of our last 6 at home against the better teams has reinvigorated a little hope for me that we can still make something of this season. We are only one game outside the 8 still, not that you'd know it from the tone of this board.

Carlton are paying a million for Cripps, Williams and will probably pay close to that to keep Walsh. They cannot afford that and are ****ed if they don't make changes.

I sent this letter to the West today, no prizes for guessing it won't be printed:
Let me get this right. A footy player with drug issues and repeat poor non-legal choices is a care issue, while soft caps on dedicated care personnel impede reintegration of a ‘West Coast Premiership’ player into his club.

Now why didn’t Freo know it was only ever all about care and reintegration with ‘Troubled Dockers Forward’ Jesse Hogan? (Or Shane Yarran, maybe Cam McCarthy, all forwards gone backwards to Freo’s detriment.)

My guess: WA media forgot to tell them about Da Rioli Code.

King was obsessed with Freo during the height of the Lyon era. Seemed like he was applying for an assistant role every time he spoke about our press.

Unfortunately I think these days we're just irrelevant...don't really provoke any strong feelings one way or the other to 99% of pundits.
