It's such a niche story, but somehow universal at the same time. And the insight into ultra-orthidox hasidic Jewish customs is really interesting in and of itself too. The lead actress is very good in it too.

Unorthodox is terrific. Shira Haas puts up one of the performances of the year thus far.

That everything you read says that's it a pretty accurate portrayal of Hasidic Judaism, of which I know almost nothing about, is pretty eye-opening and alarming. That's some extremist shit right there.

yep, it was ok. started off well but tailed off a bit i think. Will give a new season a watch if it comes back again. 6/10

Sensational and Jeff Daniels is in a role you have never seen him before him as a total bad ass leader of an outlaw pack of thugs who are seeking revenge on a rogue member of their crew who betrayed them, 7 Episodes and it could of been a great feature film but it has been done perfectly this way.

Very violent and bloody, simulating a vicious wild west with excellent acting all round with Michelle Dockerey just nailing her role as a hard nose single mum who gets dragged into all this drama.

9.5 / 10 for me.

Anyone who likes Westerns this is a must see and even if you don't i would be surprised if you did not enjoy it and it is just go go go and never lets up with great character building.

He's in top form atm.

Speaking of Ricky and Netflix, seen his most recent standup special on there a couple of times (the old rewatch while showing someone else). It's very good.

Once upon a time was awful. Felt like a movie made by uni students and the scene jumping often made no sense.

Watched uncut gems which I surprisingly enjoyed quite a lot and thought Sandler was great.
