Just watched 2 seasons in a row over the last 2 days and i was hooked! Seriously good ****ing show.

Sad the way it ended in season 2 that it really left no where for the series to go and i reckon 2 seasons of this masterpiece is all we will get but well worth the look.

Jessica Barden is a star.

9/10.

Late to the party for the Crown, midway through season two and you just can't take your eyes off Foy who carries the show well (no disrespect to the other good actors/actresses of course).

Looking forward to starting my watch tonight. Claire Foy will be very hard to replace (along with Matt Smith) but if there's any who can do it it's Olivia Colman.

Foy won the Emmy for Crown last year right along with John Lithgow? Well deserved for both. People would have thought you broke out of the loony bin if you said in 2017 that the goofy dad from Third Rock from the Sun put in a better Winston Churchill performance than Gary Oldman.

I found the transition a little clumsy. I spent a lot of time trying to figure out who all the lesser known characters were and was missing important things.

Watched the 1st episode of " The Order " last night and really enjoyed it.

Bit different but good acting and i have always been a fan of Katharine Isabelle!

Will go deeper into it tonight and get some more episodes in.

For a YA show, The Order is really good. Though I think there are too many coincidences.

I've been watching the Ken Burns Vietnam War doco. Absolutely fascinating stuff, and it turns out I knew much less about that war than I thought i did.

Just did season 1 of Atypical, surprisingly good. Follows the family of an 18 year old functioning autistic kid who starts trying to get into dating.

Gives off a real Juno vibe, if you're into that sort of thing. Very funny and sweet. Lots of likable characters, the least of all being the mother played by Jennifer Jason Leigh, but I love her as an actress.

Gives off a real Juno vibe, if you're into that sort of thing. Very funny and sweet. Lots of likable characters, the least of all being the mother played by Jennifer Jason Leigh, but I love her as an actress.

And it only gets better- season 3 is unreal

Just finished The Crown S3 and I got to say the re-castings worked. Was sceptical but Colman, Menzies and HBC definitely pulled it off. And Charles Dance just suited Lord Mountbatten perfectly. The addition of Charles and Anne were great. The actress for Camilla not so much but I like how the series creators are angling for a sympathetic route with the whole Charles/Camilla thing because we all know what happens in the end.

More awards on the horizon and deservedly so, eagerly awaiting S4 when they add Gillian Anderson as Thatcher and tackle the Troubles and assassination of Lord Mountbatten and presumably a massive arc about Charles and Diana.
