Sunderland till I die season 2 just drop?

I see Community has been added. I like it as a show i can watch while doing other stuff and there are some classic episodes but it went off really badly the last couple of seasons
IF anyone hasnt watched Kims Convenience. first 2 seasons are top class, 3rd season very disappointing, 4th season just dropped, will watch hoping it gets back to funny instead of doing stories about the characters i dont care about.

I've only watched the first episode and I thought it was incredible. Every five minutes was another moment of hands-on-face incredulity!
Yeah, but what's so special about?

Some eccentric folk with whacked out ideas of life and reality, and all of them having a go at each other.

I mean, tigers are cool, but I already knew that, and I knew that Murica was full of nutters prior to watching this.

You don't find anything interesting that of the 4 main big cat breaders in the USA(apart from them all owning a few hundred Lions, Tigers, Ligers, Bears etc);

1. Is a gay redneck man with multiple husbands, a fascination with guns, drug addiction, and a multi million dollar social media empire and ran for President and Governor.
2. Is a multi millionaire man who appears to run a cult within his zoo, has 4 or 5 wives etc, believes he's a lord or a god on earth type.
3. A women who all evidence points to, has gotten rid of her multi millionaire husband in some way. Also masquerades as some sort of wild life crusader, when in reality she is the same as the others, just doesn't need the money from cub petting.
4. One was a Tony Montana style drug king pin.

I mean, they haven't just plucked these guys from all over America, every country has these types, the crazy thing is they are all friends/opponents in the same very small industry.

I thought season 6 was at least a decent return to form. Which I believe coincided with the return of Dan Harmon.

I found it all sad. There was no really good story there, least of all for the animals, they seemed to be cared for by terrible people.

On the advice of a friend I started watching Giri/Haji - A japanese series about a Tokyo detective who travels to London to investigate the whereabouts of his missing (yakuza linked) brother.
Blown away so far, dark, moody, witty at times. Nice touch of Tarantino-esque violence and a dash of anime to boot.
100% on the tomato meter!

There were very few likeable characters aside from those who worked so hard for Joe, especially the dude (girl?) who lost their arm.

I didn’t hate Joe Exotic either - until he over time became crueller to his animals by neglect.

The whole thing was so far-fetched that it just defies belief that it’s all true.

I've watched an episode and a half of Tiger King - not getting all the fuss so far.

Agree. Just finished the first episode and gotta say, the hypocrisy of Carole Baskin is alarming

'No animals should be kept in cages.'

5 minutes later.

'We keep our cats in cages to keep them safe.'

Criticising Joe for profiting from the animals when she is virtually doing the same.

Not getting the hype. Just seems like a 'They did this so I did that. Then they did this in response, so I did that.'

sacked it after an episode. Just dumb yankee cowboy circus shit that boggles the mind.
Apparently it gets real good. Might give it another shot over the weekend.

Yeah, it's a bunch of loonies doing the same thing as each other, but criticising each other for doing the thing that they are doing.

"Hi all you cool cats and kittens......"

I think I hated Carol the most of the lot following watching it.

She just wants to own the whole industry, she is no better than the others, just masquerades as some sort of wild life savior, yet still charges a shitload for tours, locks up the animals and uses free labour to manage the park.

That's without taking into account the husband rumours.

I've since read she's thrown a hissy fit with the Netflix producers as to how she's been portrayed, which makes me incredibly happy.

Joe has since filed a $90m lawsuit against Netflix :tearsofjoy:

Netflix has portrayed them all as bad guys, which is only a good thing moving forward awakening the general public, the USA politicians etc.

Pulled the pin early like you, just couldn’t sit through it after starting it last night

Folks were watching it at the same time and ended up plowing through it all night

Reckon it gets very good like some here said

Might have to give it a chance, but that country hick creeps me out
