Was that Shawn Bradley?

Went and did missionary work here in Oz for 2 years if I recall

Sam bowie.

Got wrecked by injuries.

Tbf, Portland had Clyde the glide who was more than handy.

Watched first ep of The Last Dance. Man I miss sport.
I am gunna give it a watch even though the Bulls in this era were my most hated team! All my mates went for them and we were playing BBall at a pretty high level in the early 90's when i was in my late teens approaching early 20's which were also the glory days of the NBL here in Melbourne.

I was always a Larry Bird / Reggie Miller fan as i loved a pure shooter while all my mates were just dunks dunks dunks etc etc and i was the lone wolf in my circle of friends in the day that actually rooted for the Bulls getting beat! I do respect Jordan massively but gee just the hype was huge and i always liked the underdog players/teams and never just jumped on the champs to be with the so called " In " crowd. I use to love it when the Bulls got beat just because i knew i could give my mates shit about it and then we would go to the courts at our local high school and play against each other 3 on 3 or whatever and release all the frustrations before comps and league started most Thursday nights.

Good times the early 90's and you never get those years back as i look back on it now and am over 40yo! lol I still throw a ball around though every now and then and may just rip out my old Larry Bird jersey and have a shoot around at the local courts next to me soon!

And yet the Early 90s Cowboys Chism

:D;)

I actually started following the Cowboys in 87 when i was 10yo!

I got lucky with them for a short time.

The only thing i did love about the Bulls was the Intro " Sirius " they entered the stadium in which was by the Alan Parsons project and was an intro to his " Eye in the Sky " top hit.

Ok just watched the first 2 episodes and my respect of Scotty Pippen is immense.

Totally loving it and my late child hood is flooding back to me.

Episode 3 please ASAP!

Jordan is just Jordan and he was a champ wether you liked him or not and I was not a lover of him but you cannot deny how good he was.

Larry Bird gets some airtime in this series, as do (in true Netflix massive budget style) a couple of ex Presidents.

I go for Detroit but couldn’t help loving what the Bulls used to do. Amazing era.

That second half of episode 2 was incredible.

This show is great for those who weren’t around in MJ’s time to get a feel for what he was like from the grainy 90s footage - eg compared to LeBron.

Bird was my child hood idol but he was nearing the end as MJ was rising. I then moved onto Reggie Miller after Larry retired and the Pacers as I never had a love for Boston except for Larry himself. Indiana and Reggie Miller I had much more passion for as they had never achieved anything major and Larry Bird was also an Indiana native so it made sense to me that Pacers took my heart over and still do to this day.

I also still have 4 shoe boxes of Upper Deck / Topps / Fluer and Stadium Deck NBA basketball cards from the 90s along with many others etc from my high school days!

My misses wants to throw them out but no chance and I have kept them all! High school in the early 90s meant you were not doing it right if you did not have a Shaq rookie card!

Jordan rookie card forget it and that was a holy grail!

I miss Jordan in his prime, he was unbelievable. The UNC footage was great, those dunks.

How’s the Portland recruiter picking some no-name centre over MJ😂

Sam Bowie was a name in college ball. Injuries unfortunately wrecked his career

I’ve only seen MJ in Space Jam but keen to watch the doco anyway.

Anyone watched Too Hot to Handle? This shit is worse than Ex on the Beach but I can’t look away.
my gf wants to watch it to see how bad it is... i may be swayed as i can see some boobs

The concept of the show is about not doing anything sexual. If they do, they lose money from the pot

So I don’t know if it’ll satisfy your urges.
i'll put my money on their lack of discipline

Sunderland til I Die is absolutely brilliant, great to see it from largely a fan POV too. I’m guessing they banked on them getting back into the EPL during season one, so season two will be interesting...
Arguably even better

Started the middleditch & Schwartz show. Only one ep in but funny so far all improvised.
