Tried that last year and only got through one episode. I felt that Phil was a bit of a disingenuous twat
His humor is very Jewish so it is a bit strange at first until you get the tempo of it, and he has never come across as disingenuous to me. But each to their own.

Love on the spectrum US. Truly heart warming show. Have watched the Australian one and the UK one (inappropriately called The Undateables [emoji19]). Thought this one might be annoying due to the American factor but it wasn't. Sounds like the same Australian guy doing the interviews. Do yourself a favour.
Undateables is kind of a different show altogether.
US love on the spectrum is terrific. I agree!

Steve is my fave. So sad he has been single his whole life.

Did anyone watch "Our Father," a doco about infertility doctor Don Cline who inseminated women with his own sperm without their consent? This was truly a farked-up man. So far, they've found 94 half-siblings with him as the father, and these women often required multiple treatments before they fell pregnant. Don would go to his office, rub one out, then take his sperm into the treatment room and inject it directly into his patient's vagina. Like I said, farked-up.
I havent' watched it, but my mate did and said they basically couldn't find anything to charge him with. He didn't really commit any crime. Misleading and deceptive codnuct from a commercial perspective? Kind of crazy. Definitely one that falls through the cracks of criminal liability - just a very odd situation.

Finally getting around to Shameless. Season one seems very faithful to the (excellent) original. Macy is extraordinarily good.

Just watched Hustle, a basketball movie starring Adam Sandler as a jaded talent scout for the Philadelphia 76ers.

If you are a fan of the NBA and Hoops in general, you will enjoy this, got some very impressive cameos.

By far Sandlers best movie and I think it stands up to any sporting movie.

Hustle was an excellent movie. Sandler was terrific and all those NBA stars playing roles gave it an air of realism. The story itself is nothing new, but it was told as well as you possibly could.
Watching it now. Great so far.

watched it last night - was pretty good, pretty token storyline of finding a hidden gem and turning him into a star. Sandler was pretty good and didnt mumble like he seems to when playing a 'serious' role.

im not a basketball fan so didnt know half of the cameo's or didnt really give a shit. I was watching it thinking 'my basketball loving mates would rate this'

Hustle, to me, was like a twist on Rocky, but told from the coach's POV, more than the athletes (but we do get Bo's story). We had an unknown/underdog going up against established players, with training montages galore. Bo even did a tribute to Rocky in the movie. It was well made and acted.

I was the same as you Frumpy, I didn't know there were so many NBA players in it until they rolled the credits at the end cos I don't follow that sport.
