I was hospitalised the day after I started working at a Childcare Centre and was incredibly sick, but after that I was surprisingly fine. Not sure whether it was just a freak occurrence or what, but if you take vitamins and wash hands regularly, you should be right I would think.

tips and tricks for not being sick around kids?

Once you work with a group of kids on a regular basis I found it takes about 3 months before you adjust to their specific germs.

Few tips:
- Drink lots of water. I mean lots.
- Eat well.
- Try to keep regular sleep patterns. (Easier said than done)
- Honestly think the whole washing your hands often while good practice makes you more susceptible to illness. Having said that I have always had a pretty good immune system which probably helps.


The reward for doing all those things right? You get sick once you have holidays and let your guard down.
