Has "Blockbuster fatigue" taken the place of "the Colliwobbles" in the media? Is it the Colliwobbles for the 21st century? Not a week has gone by since MM (stupidly) coined the term that the media haven't dragged it out. The Colliwobbles kind of died a natural death after 1990, but now we seem to have this term tarnishing our reputation - what do ya think?

I don't really care about our reputation, or the new buzzwords going around. Winning football matches has a pretty deleterious effect on nonsense sayings such as "blockbuster fatigue", so that's probably where we should focus our efforts. It's all just a poorly disguised code for "not good enough" at the end of the day.

New Colliwobbles? What was wrong with the old ones?
We don't need new ones as I am happy with the traditional Colliwobbles and I don't see why we should update them just to keep the AFL and the Journo's happy.

Next thing they will be talking about ColliwobbleGate pah! humbug!:D:D

Well I'm lost on what any of that means. I don't even know what a troll is, but I'm pretty sure I'm not one. I was just making an observation. Didn't realise it was such a touchy subject.
I think if you've read any of my previous posts you would see I'm nothing if not a positive peace lovin' collingwood supporter.
SO comment if you want or not.

Well for starters my response was light hearted comment.....:D
The Colliwobbles were never put to bed after 1990 and they will be with us until we win 2-3 flags in a decade as far as I'm concerned.
Some seem to be pretty touchy re: the wobbles but I simply see them as something else we have that the others don't...:thumbsu::thumbsu::thumbsu:

Threads like this don't help.

Blockbuster fatigue is a bs monster created from something MM said once most probably out of context or just him trying to pad out his words. We don't have blockbuster fatigue, we've always been a team that other teams get up for and it hasn't changed. Our problem is we can't seem to perform to well unless we are hunting (or conversely we can't seem to be able to get the hunting mentality against lower teams).
