I am over in USA, but only heard this the other day. Is the consensus that you really want Phil Walsh for his pedigree or more because it will piss POrt people off (I am not trying to stir the pot either).

I'm guessing they're hiring Walsh (if that is the case) because the panel thinks" he's the best man for the job."
None of us here remotely know the bloke or whether his motives are questionable. I now know he's been an assistant without being a head coach for 16 years, so he has some football experience.
If he's put up his hand to coach and he accepts the job he'll become a Crow man, pure and simple and he will do it to the best of his ability.
This is all that matters to the hirer's and firer's who are appointing the successful candidate on our behalf.

yeah but he didn't say any other club, he said if i was in ADELAIDE meaning he specifically couldn't ever see himself coaching at ADELAIDE.
