Given the desire to remove Trigg by this board, I'm curious to hear some suggestions from people to who they believe would be a good CEO for the AFC.

Would love to get Brian Cooke.

Would be good, but he is more likely to either stay at Geelong or retire

Nige obviously has a foot in the door, whether that is good or not I dont know, has no-nonsence approach but not sure of his business acumen. We should also approach Keith Thomas, as for others, no idea

Very difficult question as prospective CEOs rarely have a massive media profile and thus the average punter has little idea who's out there, I do know however that there was a few candidates lining up for Triggys job 12 months ago and Triggys probably lucky he had the SANFL and Chapman onside. I have certainly been led to believe that he certainly didn't have the full support of the board, only those that mattered.

Are you aware of who these candidates were? Would you have thought they could do a good job? (Obviously without saying who they are).

I think it's easy to have pop shots from the stands saying to dismiss him, but now the time has passed that to do it now would require a target lined up. And if people can't offer suggestions, then how do they know they'd be better at the job?

I wonder if Ray Gunston would be interested after his stint at Essendon is done? Just for the irony of Jack's mum moving to Adelaide. ;)

I wouldn't be an advocate of poaching KT.

Port fans are trouble enough when they think we've copied their guernsey.

My dream ambition is to become a CEO of a football club, bit unrelated and you blokes probably don't care but currently studying business and economics to become apart of an AFL club business sector. Look out for the name Callum Burman in the next 10-20 years. ;)

This is awkward. I always read you name as Concrete GAL.

Good luck chasing your dream

Stickied. If you're a good poster we'll all vote for you in 20 years time when we become a member vote club.

What the club needs is a CEO who has the members the players and the club at heart and that is clean and honest about their work. Financially adelaide is a strong one in history. Adelaide Oval was a start of a new era but I cant help but think that Trigg hasnt paid enough attention to the members. Maybe we need someone of a younger age that is all for the fans and that is a wizard with economics.
