Thanks for that. I was wondering how we would go in the matches leading up to the finals. You have now removed the guesswork from my wonderings.

I think we will struggle against Sydney (under a goal either way), beat NM, lose to WCE and beat Ess.

I like the cut of your jib:thumbsu:.
I'm thinking we'll lose to syd by four odd goals then win the next three hitting our straps.
Then we'll beat the hawks in the prelim the same way as last year with Clarkson leaving the g in a straight jacket.
Geelong are next to cop it with Krak doing a Nick Davis kicking four last quarter goals and waalaa sweet sixteen.

Yeah we will win every game I believe, but may lose to West coast by a little

Has anyone not seen West Coast play in the last month? They have been nothing short of pathetic. Three losses by 49 points or more. We will beat them.

Also not quite sure why everyone is so confident against NM, playing home games at Etihad is a dangerous thing to do against them given their record there.

What a bad record. Surely we won't lose to Essendon?
You would hope not:p
In 2010 and 2011 we had nothing to play for, so that was partially excusable. But, looking deeper:
2007 we were rolled by Adelaide and were lucky to finish 6th instead of 7th and play Sydney at the G instead of Sydney.
2008 had we beaten Freo we would have finished 4th and had a crack at Geelong (who we thumped during the year). We were comfortably beaten and finished 8th.
2009 we missed out on third by some tiny percentage after losing to the Dogs and were forced to play St Kilda instead of a vulnerable Geelong.

Can you send me the tattslotto numbers please?

I love the optimism in this thread.

All our 4 games are obviously winnable, but they are all danger games. I wouldn't be underestimating the Swans or North. West Coast, despite poorer form of late will not be easy at home and the Bombers only lost by a point when our midfield dominated and theirs struggled. Yes, I agree we should not have let them get that close.

2 out of 4 wins should set us up for a double chance...

swannies are a tough gig but if we dont succumb to lapses for half a quarter or more and let them back into the contest i think we have the structures to reduce goodesy's impact and perhaps put a stop to their rampaging midfield. as for north we always get the job done. petrie might be kicking goals against minor teams but he hasnt come up against benny reid. that said i am an admirer of the shinboner spirit and they have played well. they will do some damage come september and may even cause an upset or two along the way. a few weeks back when we lost to carlton the eagles game in perth looked daunting. i turned to my eagles mate and said four goals plus their way. since then the eagles have been trounced both home and away and it seems fathomable (thats right fathomable) we could give woosha worsfold a run for his money and continue our excellent form in perth since dumping a judless, kerrless, embley lacking reigining premier from their top perch on a balmy saturday evening in 2007. those were the good old days. still maintain we would have smashed port adelaide but credit it where its due the catters took their money and ran. as for the bombers, took the crows all the way last week and nearly did us a favour. the soft tissue injuries will be a problem and their lost jason winderlich through the game when he had kicked four beastly goals to have the bombers flying up and up. they played like richmond however and did what no team should do at footy park: let the crows swing momentum their way. i would say at least three out of four by between heartstopping and comfortable margins. we havent won big this year which shouldnt be too worrying as we have always done enough to grab the four points. just a shame about the carlton and hawthorn games where we have given the media reason to print doubt into the mind of the football public about our aspirations for a sixteenth flag which went begging in the last quarter last year. lets get the sydney game out of the way this week though and see what happens. may the magpie prosper and keep the faith. floreat pica.

Capital letters at the start of your sentences please. You might like to also consider using paragraphs. I might then be able to read this.
