Other Teams
Aston Villa
1. Swallow GC
2. Bennell GC
3. Day GC
obvious

4. Gaff (West Coast) - West Coast need an all round midfielder, and gaff fits the mould, will run all day, accumulate the ball, inside and out, and then use it well.

5. Polec (Brisbane) - Brisbanes kicking woes were very evident last year, and this is where Polec is prominent, will run and carry and Fev and Brown will be very happy when they see he has the ball. Rich and Drummond are the only other standout kicks at Brisbane and with Drummond injury prone, I think brisbane will make the first small shock of the draft.

6. Heppel (Richmond) - This one was extremely tough, i had polec penciled in here for months, but now with Brisbane looking likely to take him, I chose heppel. There are rumours of the Tigs taking Conca, but I dont think he is worthy of pick 6, Heppel proved himself this year, as well as at draft camp, and I think richmond will be taking the best player for their needs.

7. Caddy (GC) - Gold Coast need an inside midfielder, and this guy is, will go into the packs and get the ball out to all their outside quality.

8. Atley (Essendon) - Another tough one, but i chose atley purely for essendons desperate need for an inside midfielder to go in with Watson, seriously considered Gorringe and Prestia here aswell.

9. Lynch (gold coast) - Gold Coast will like working with the potential of Lynch, could be a star at CHF.

10. Prestia (GC) - has shot up somewhat in terms of where people rate him, has good pace and ball use, GC will like his natural footballing ability.

11. Gorringe (GC) - almost chose seb tape here but in the end went Gorringe on his potential to be a star ruckman, Gold Coast giving themselves every opportunity.

12. Darling (Melb) - the Dees really need another key forward to help jack watts, was the talk of the town last year but hasnt improved all that much this year, still good enough to warrant him being taken here. Only 191 cm

13. Tape (GC) - didnt really know where to go here, i think the gold coast will take tape , good skills and composure and should turn into a good defender capable of stopping and rebounding, GC covering their bases.

14. Smith (Adelaide) - I think you can lock this one in as a cert, Adelaide have drafted tall the last 2-3 years, and now will take smith, apparently has leadership potential and has a good long kick, can also play on a back flank or forward flank if hes not on the ball.

15. Smedts (Geelong) - ive gone Smedts here instead of Isaac Smith, Geelong will like Smedts' nautral ability and versatility as they look to replace a few players who are on their last legs.

16. Lycett (Port) - fairly obvious choice for port here, Brogan is getting on and with Lade also gone, port will want a promising ruckman and Lycett is the best available.

17. Harper (North) - have lots of talented inside mids and now will go after a naturally gifted player, very quick, can sit on a wing or a half forward flank as hes shown he can kick goals.

18. Watson (Carlton) - Carltons glaring weakness is in their defense, and watson is a key defender whose ready to go, at 101 kegs, but hes not 1 dimensional, has good skills and likes to set up play, will release pressure of Jamison.

19. Lamb (Hawthorn) - the next Stevie J if you believe the hype, Hawthorn have a lot of fringe small forwards but lamb should be the one who cements a spot next to Buddy and Roughead.

20. Conca (Freo) - West Australian who is an all round midfielder, has good skills on both side of his body and can play above his height with some good marks, can play on the ball or half forward or back, will help take the pressure off some of Freos star mids.

21. Hallahan (Sydney) - This was really tough, ive ended up going Hallahan to replace Kirk as a contested ball winner, will fit in well to Sydneys style of play, and hey you can never have enough quality midfielders. Went quick last year with Jetta and Rohan.

22. Wallis (Dogs) - Father-son.

23. McCarthy (Cats) - Tall defender who can also go forward if needed, with Milburn and Scarlett near the end of their tether and Lonergan not really cutting it, I think Geelong will take this guy as a long term player.

24. Smith (Saints) - I have him a bit lower where other people rate him, but I have him going to the Saints here, St Kilda don't have a lot of pace and this is what Smith has, loads of potential and is ready to go at 21, which will suit St Kilda.

25. Green (Brisbane) - So close to going Ben Jacobs here but I think Green just has him, apparently Brisbane are very keen on him, is lightning quick and has a good kick, fits the Lions needs.

Others names to watch out for:
Cripps
Jacobs
Farmer
Ugle
Cook
Guthrie
Mitchell
Harvey
Pitt
Parker
Michie

Would love some feedback on my first try

Nice would't mind if it turned out that way from our point of view.
