Thing is, I don't think Broad was wrong, which is why this is so bad by the Poms. A lot of the recent Ashes they've just been blown off the park whereas they've been in decent spots this series and blown it

I mean no one ever wants a player to be injured, especially for an extended period, but Nathan 'GOAT' Lyon being out for at least two dead rubber Tests (thank you England) gives us a chance to try something different. Personally think Todd Murphy should get the gig but happy for any other full time spinner to show us what he can do.
Also not a coincidence that England were most threatening when they put away Bazball. So hopefully RIP Bazball and good riddance to that shit.

Same old Aussies, always winning.
Plus major injuries to three of our four first-choice bowling attack. Cummins missed two Tests, Hazlewood has missed the series, Lyon was injured in Perth (not that he was needed in the end) and will miss the last two Tests. Won in Perth with 9 1/2 men. Ssmith missing this Test due to illness.
Haven't had our strongest XI out there at any point and they still can't win. Got close here on the flattest wicket in the series but still not enough.
