Another one who (in his thread) was criticised for not being able to kick,
But he has hit some beauties today!
The more pleasing thing is that he has a mature body, is quick and is fairly agile.

Loving the signs from our key position stocks particularly Maley and Dawson. Biggest list weakness so it’s great to see!

Future is bright

Maley, Dawson, Riley, Sellars, Comben, even Biggie has been pretty good.

Hoping George comes on (as hasn't done a lot today) and if Goad can put on some size, could be a really good group

Maley is very raw in a lot of areas but if we just need someone to clunk marks, do a few minutes of rucking, and be a menace in any other way ... Do we have a better option?

Other than Comben, who we are trying down back

Most of his shots on goal were results of chest marks on that day. He was also playing on a very undersized back line.
Mayley is so clean in the air, if he can translate his tank to AFL level and has the smarts to run to the right positions, he will be an absolute weapon.

Kid was playing park footy not long ago, so the upside seems huge considering where he is coming from.

Half time 41-23

Finbar Maley is the story. 8 marks. 1 goal. A couple of soaring leaps among them. Best on easily at the moment.
Sellars has competed well and is being double teamed. 2 goals is good though.
Drury had been excellent. Great delivery i50. Nuyon very good. Liked his game. Hardeman Dawson and Goad have all done good things.

Hansen jr has been okay. Jacko Archer having a good game. Comben has taken some good intercepts and generally used it well. Brayden George a bit quiet but coming from a ways back. WiPhi has been okay. Disappointingly okay. Greenwood has been pretty good.

Maley is the story of this game though. Super impressive.

Takes the ball at the highest point and he has a solid leap too, don’t think it’ll matter what grade he plays at those hands are always going to be an issue for any defender.
