Here’s one from left field if Will Phillips doesn’t get picked up same for Eddie Ford would you try and sign them for North VFL only?

Would be nice but if either has any desire to try and get back onto an AFL list you don’t do that from the VFL list of the club that delisted you.

Will might be a slight chance, he seems to have a good relationship with most at the club. But it seems like Eddie left on bad terms, no chance there.

I just don’t see how Will would come back even with leaving on good terms. It would be basically giving up on his AFL dream to stick with the club that delisted him.

North Melbourne has added former VFL Blue and Borough Mitch Moschetti, who averaged 25 disposals, seven clearances and seven tackles this year for Hurstbridge in the Northern league.

Balwyn premiership player Isaiah Markovsky is also on his way to Arden St.

Markovsky, a former Oakleigh Charger, kicked 23 goals from 15 matches in Eastern Premier this year and also played two games for Collingwood VFL.

Always lots of player movement this time of year in the VFL. Unless your ex AFL or have it in your contract that you’re guaranteed VFL selection every week for the life of me I have no idea why any budding AFL player would pick AFL aligned ahead of standalone.
