As i understood it the number 43 was retired for a season (2008) but will be back in 2009.

Who should get the honor of wearing the great mans number and who would we like to see in it. Will a current player want it or will it go to a new player.

Give it to Waite or Bentick. You guys have got a good young list, heaps of them deserve it.

Definitely won't be Bentick as he has already changed numbers once before after starting off in the number 40 but then being given Ratten's old number 7.

Also, Waite is wearing his dads old number is he not? If that's the case then there is no chance he'll be changing either.

The club will give out 9, 11, 12, 13, 34 and 35 before 43.

Possibly 20 if Benjamin is cut.

Aisake might be cut or go home, so I'd like to see Austin switch from 21 to 35.

wouldn't it be like a sort of honour to get it.
WOuldnt the club give it to someone who they think deserves or they see great potential in. If i were playing for carlton I would prefer the 43 over any number.

Isn't Aisake 45?

I thought Aisake wore 45 because he wanted a number close to Kouta's 43, but the official website has him wearing 35.

1, 2, 4 and 11 have a better history than the number 43 guernsey - Carlton's Locker Room.

If we get Hurley, it would great to hand him the number 11 or 35 worn by Doull and Dean.

Yarran can have Skinny's number 12.
