I am confused why you’d keep secret the alleged abuse of someone who didn’t have a film credit to his name (Spacey’s first was in 1986) towards a 14 year old? It’s not as if Kevin Spacey comes from a powerful Hollywood family. He was just a no-name actor at that stage trying to “make it” in Hollywood. Weird!

Yeah I didn't phrase that the best I could have, I was more trying to suggest one incident from 30+ years ago shouldn't be an issue now, as nothing actually seemed to happen, but as it is it sounds like it wasn't isolated.

Never had to get it organised before so wasn't sure if I had to book it in a few days in advance or not. I'll sort it on the Monday and that should have it up and running by the Wednesday to live in.

Guessing Internet will be the slower one to get sorted. Will get onto Optus on Monday too

Just call them up and they should be super helpful. Yeah internet took me a month...

I'd read that the 14 year old was alone in the room watching TV and Spacey laid on top of him. Spacey can't remember so who would know really.

The backlash he's receiving was because of the absurd apology he put out yesterday. The actual apology to the guy was ok but to then go on and come out as gay in the same statement, was just really poor.

I dont know if it was poor.

I mean what else can he do? He was messing around with another person of the same sex. Under age and totally wrong but it was a male boy. So obviously the next question people will ask after, why are you sexually assaulting an underage person.. is gonna be are you gay?

So may as well get it out there as everyone was gonna ask anyways.

This is the other thing that annoyed me. Zachary Quinto did the same thing on Twitter just attacking Spacey for his timing of coming out. Well Zach it's really got **** all to do with you. Im sure anyone battling with being in the closet has had their very own journey, their very own tough journey separate and different from yours.

Poor timing or not, he was gonna be asked about it because the underage sexual allegations werent with a girl, but with a boy. So he may as well tackle the whole issue. Which has nothing to do with Zach or George Takei, or anyone except Kevin and the poor lad involved.

So many people with so much entitlement, it drives me nuts.

I feel for the kid, nobody should have to go through that.

He's a lock for ROTY and the East is so terrible I definitely think the 76ers can make the playoffs. As the season rolls on, Simmons, Fultz, Saric, Embiid etc are just going to get better and better.
