I'll give The Wire a go at some point, almost finished Sopranos.

I felt The Sopranos was slow at times but a spectacular series. The acting from James Gandolfini (R.I.P) and Edie Falco was nothing short of incredible.

Even when its slow its still better than other boring shows like Sopranos.

Would have thought Sopranos just the sort of show you'd love.

Yeah I haven't watched Sopranos in a while. Has down periods where it kinda drags, and I guess the last time I watched it, it was at that point.

Been smashing Prison Break, up to S4E6. Loving it.

Glad you're enjoying Season 4 of PB. How sad was the beginning of it?

Where are you up to? I loved the first season straight away as well. It's the transition from S1 to S2 that I struggled with initially.
Seven episodes in. What season do you think is the best? My only knock so far is some of the dialogue has been really hard to follow

Seasons 4 and 3 were my favourite. As I said, I struggled initially with season 2 just because it goes in a different direction but once you get used to that it's pretty great.

To be honest every season is boss. Hence it being the best show ever.

Does it get easier to follow? Some of the lingo and law terms used in it makes it difficult

Wire is amazing. Watched it through twice. Second time round was almost better as there were so many key scenes I didn't pick up on first time.

The biggest issue I had with The Sopranos was all the dropped storylines. At times it's like we're watching a sitcom where every episode is a one-off.

There was a devastating event that happened with Dr. Melfi (the people who have seen the entire series will know exactly what I mean) that happened at the end of one episode and I don't think it was ever revisited. There might've been a flashback here and there but the very next episode it was as if it never happened. The series could disappoint like that.
