That wasn't meant to be spoilered.
Not sure what happened when I quoted RPCB but [ /QUOTE] appeared at the beginning.
HahahaOh... well that isn't nearly as funny. I got a bit excited there for a second.
But in all seriousness use spoilers next time, mate. I can't watch Prison Break now that I know something bad happens to Mahoon.

Not sure what happened when I quoted RPCB but

The biggest issue I had with The Sopranos was all the dropped storylines. At times it's like we're watching a sitcom where every episode is a one-off.
There was a devastating event that happened with Dr. Melfi (the people who have seen the entire series will know exactly what I mean) that happened at the end of one episode and I don't think it was ever revisited. There might've been a flashback here and there but the very next episode it was as if it never happened. The series could disappoint like that.
Nah it did get revisited a bit but nowhere near as much as I thought it'd be. I agree with you, and has been my complaint through much of the show, although Season 4 I found great. Season 5 is a bit slow going but almost through it.
The Sopranos was deliberately done that way, where things would happen and not be resolved.
The episode with the Russian out in the snow was another example of it.
There's interviews everywhere with the director about using that technique. Was part of the reason the show was so successful, the show was left up for interpretation on a few key things.
Yeah I didn't want to allude to that but that was the most obvious one. That is actually howthe series ended
It's why the series was so amazing in a way and unlike most others.
Exactly. It's very real. But it also puts you in the moment and will she, wont she. Will she tell Tony, she knows what would happen to the guy if she does tell Tony. It gives you those great questions as to what you would do in that situation. You know by telling Tony, you're killing that man. It's a tug of war in her own mind. Made for great viewing. With the aforementioned scene, I was hoping that Dr. Melfi would tell Tony about it but she never did. I thought it was a missed opportunity and would've made for some great viewing.
But in saying that, a lot of these type of HBO shows are done more like real life and in that scenario a Doctor really wouldn't give that kind of information to a patient.
Yep. It's amazeballs. Just a ****ing great character study on a very complex man. That is actually howthe series ended

I didn't think Mad Men had anywhere near as deep a character development as the Soprano's.Yep. It's amazeballs. Just a ******* great character study on a very complex man.
It's why I love Mad Men too. Another superbly written character study. Not quite on Soprano's level but still really, really good.
Yeah it's not as good as the Soprano's I still really enjoyed it though.I didn't think Mad Men had anywhere near as deep a character development as the Soprano's.
I personally have GoT under the Sopranos and West Wing but I understand most would disagree.Yeah it's not as good as the Soprano's I still really enjoyed it though.
For me, The Soprano's with The West Wing and now probably GoT is GOAT television.
It's very different so difficult to compare.I personally have GoT under the Sopranos and West Wing but I understand most would disagree.
