Does he get a plus one?

If so, hit me up jd2010.
He'll be there with his partner ;)

Lol I'm not inviting any colleagues. No school friends unless I'm still in touch. Then friends I see occasionally got invites to the engagement party. Wedding should be people you want to be with, not out of obligation.
It will depend where I am working, but if my wedding was this weekend there would be at least two people from my team invited, plus another colleague who is in a different team but we're friends anyway.

Yeah, I've got my close mates, friends I see, and all their partners, also who I am friends with.

Maybe I just have abnormally large social circles?

I don't feel obligated to invite anybody who is on there.

You got Springsteen to sing at your wedding?
Ha, I wish!

Settle down Mr Popular haha I was just making the point that social associations are - I would say - split into layers. You have your friends you see almost every day or talk to every day, you have your friends you see in certain situations quite regularly (going to the football, etc.), you have your friends you only see on special occasions (maybe birthdays, NYE, etc.), and then friends you still get on with but barely talk to anymore. I would say you could draw the line at the friends you see quite regularly for the wedding itself, but stretch to the last layer for say, an engagement party.

Hahaha.

I think we are bypassing an engagement party cos of our trip to NYC.

I have about 10-15 friends I see regularly (a few of those I see a little less than some others in that group, but still speak with them often).

I guess it's each to their own, what you can afford, who you want etc etc.

Jod might be able to get them all great deals through flight centre! (If he still works there)
Still there mate. But great deals for two mancs and a dirty spurs supporter. No chance.

10% off for Reds though mate.

I'd definitely elope. **** massive weddings. Waste of money.
My cousin hit the wedding jackpot. Been living in the states for 5 years, working as a college/high school football coach. Freelance I think.
Comes home in February and finds out his girlfriend won't be allowed back in US when they go back, she has no transferable skills (Aus Law Degree). Gets married the following day and now avoids a big expensive wedding and reception.

Half the joy you derive from such a product is the amount you pay for it though. Why give an online retailer $30,000 when you can give a luxury department store $40,000?

I'll just be flogging the thing on eBay a couple years down the track anyway. So point taken.

Imagine the shitfights on the trip over. Could imagine the flight having to be diverted to somewhere like Kazakhstan and arrests being made.
thank god for bose noise cancelling headphones.
