Hmmm. Leaves a bitter taste. It’s massively poorly timed for starters, and the only one to blame is the shooter or terrorist if you will. The other points he makes many will agree with though, but everyone needs to take a breath and reflect and respect the victims. He clearly didn’t and I guess that’s why people are angered.

You do know the difference between self defence and assault right? Turning around, seeing it's a minor, clocking him, then clocking him again, then trying to kick him, is most certainly the latter.

I only saw two hits (which both appeared to be open handed) and a scrap. Don’t assault people if you don’t want to be assaulted. Pretty simple stuff.

Say you’re a school teacher and on the last day of year 12 when everyone lets their hair down and they throw eggs at each other (is that still thing in schools?), what if an 18 year old intentionally throws an egg at a teacher who wasn’t apart of it? Should that teacher punch that studebt?

I am of the opinion that you’re bigger if you turn the other cheek. That kid is a teenager, with an egg. He wasn’t even one of those overly tall and built teenagers either.

A few years ago I was walking down my street to get home with my dog and I worked past a couple. The girl said how cute my dog was and before I had a chance to respond, the guy called me a po.of.ter. What did I do? I kept walking home without a care in the world. I didn’t proceed to puff my chest out and then be on the receiving end of an arse kicking. That would have escalated a situation that didn’t need it.

I don't agree with the egging. Yes it's funny to see a dickhead get embarrassed but all it accomplishes is further intensification of the "us vs them" mentality that is growing not just in Australia but worldwide.

BUT, the response from Anning and his supporters was way over the top. He twice hit a teenager in the face and then, what, three or four grown men tackled him and had him on the ground in a headlock? Was like they needed to show how tough they were.

Just let the police deal with him for ****s sake.

They both broke the law yet you’re defending the person who incited the violence due to your hatred for Anning. You’re a hypocrite. Your jail call was stupid and will never eventuate, because, well, it’s stupid. The minor card is also a cop out. He’s nearing 18 and could’ve easily been mistaken for an 18 year old. On the flip side to that, Anning is 69 and due to his age, a sudden and unexpected assault from behind could have had extreme health consequences. What type of person assaults a bloke nearing 70 from behind? Where’s your outrage for that?
