I agreed with some of them. It has some major flaws as expected from Snyder. Man of Steel was such a missed opportunity but this was far superior to that (if that means anything).

At the moment, I'd say about 6.5/10. And you?

You brought up some good points about what you thought was good and I agree with those but there are too many flaws to really make it truly enjoyable. Whenever Aflleck/batman was on screen though, it was at its best.

You're a superfan and you're not fawning over it. That doesnt fill me with me with confidence. Im yet to see it though. Hopefully sometime this week.

Have never really been the fawning type though. Would like to think I'm a bit more measured and balanced rather than reactionary.

Still a good movie, but with plenty of flaws. If that makes sense. It's dark, it's bleak, has some 'wtf' moments and also some ridiculously good action set pieces.

Very worthwhile viewing.

I didnt rate Batman v Superman.

Eisenberg was way over the top and Lex Luthor had no story. He just kinda pops up in the movie as a billionaire and then he goes crazy and ends up in prison. Right... cool.

Wonder Woman also has no backstory. She just seems to be shoehorned in.

I like Affleck as Bruce Wayne but he was a shit Batman. He didnt feel like Batman. Whenever the Bat was on screen it just didnt scream Batman.

I wasnt expecting much anyways. Barely any laughs either.

Lex's character was weakly written. It was hard to logically follow his plan.

But Affleck was fine. As pure a Batman as I've ever seen on screen.
