Both very good songs! I also really rate Death Dream, An Otherwise Disappointing Life, Woke Up Hurting, Lump Street, A Lick of Paint and Break.bok_party

This is just the $5 note. The rest of the new series will be introduced gradually over time. Complete with new security features and tactile feature to help the vision impaired.
I do wonder if we'll be seeing some new faces for the larger denominations now that we've had our current series for more than 20 years.
Before you ask, yes, the Queen does look older here.
People can come up with original ideas but the studios will not make them.On movies, it's kinda sad that people can't come up with original ideas anymore. As mentioned, everything is just a franchise or off a book. There are eight F&F films. Honestly, eight of them.
And franchises keep happening cos they're so popular. Vicious circle.
Exactly and if they do get made, it comes with limited marketing so hardly any go to watch these independent films.People can come up with original ideas but the studios will not make them.

This. Empty suits and executives only care about profit and they will only stick with what the current trend is coz they know it's sure to make cash, investing in new ideas is too risky for them. The same with the music industry, why everything sounds the same nowadays
Which is why we'll get Superhero movies until it isn't cool anymore
That's why many of them tour extensively and rely on merchandise outside of CD/vinyl/download salesMy gripe is more with people with the creative original ideas aren't necessarily getting rewarded for them, particularly in music. They are the artists yet often they are the ones who can barely make money off their art while the arseh*le executives leech it all off them, **** those bastards
Particularly true in music industry nowadays, can sell 500k album copies and still not make a dime
It's fine for the top 1% artists but not so for the rest
How good is "An Otherwise Disappointing Life"!! Such a brilliant song, and those lyrics are fantastic. Its a slow burning album but I am starting to really enjoy itBoth very good songs! The others I haven't listened to as much but I find I start to enjoy songs more when I know what they are singing especially when he's such a great lyricist. I mean look at the lyrics for disappointing life:
I have a long list of tepid disappointments
it doesn't mention you
And if I'm honest your name could be upon it
if this didn't feel so good
In an otherwise disappointing life made right
On an otherwise disappointing night, there's a fire
I don't need water I just want to wave goodbye, goodbye
to an otherwise disappointing life
That first verse is just amazing.
My vomit sense is tingling.

I'd argue it's easier for artists to be found these days than it used to be. So many avenues to be discovered such as through streaming sites, social media, tv shows and film etc. instead of people just hearing at their local store for what's hot or listening to the radio constantly. Sure more of a decrease profit wise in the way of album sales but more of a chance of making it semi big. Then again, only for the top 1% artists though, and most of them don't even write their own stuff or can sing, just puppets with autotune. Artists who aren't yet famous who rely on album sales can't cut it anymore
Anyway screw the music industry, even the gaming and TV/movie industry has moved on with the times and can make money for most, it's sad that music can't really move on the same
