Really? Im reading Gerrards now and really enjoying it. Literally just read the chapter called The Slip. Heartbreaking stuff for him.I'm reading Gerrard's book at the moment and to be honest it's not that great. Maybe it's because the last autobiography I read was Zlatan's but this one just feels very cliche'd and you don't get the feeling that it's coming from Gerrard himself or that he's sharing his true feelings. I'm not even halfway yet though so maybe it'll get better.
One autobiography I would recommend is Craig Bellamy's. I know he's not the most popular or high profile footballer ever, but his book is a very good read.
I know rival fans revel in it. But a local boy, the captain, the star, wanting to win the league and deliver for his home team after 15+ years of toiling away. Getting so close, and then it being kinda his fault. Heartbreaking for him. He was completely devastated.
Tough for a fan to read.
Rival fans im sure will love reading it.
