I thought the end of it certainly was. I definitely didn't love it as much as some. Felt very Disney to me.

I am looking forward to seeing it again once it comes out on Blu Ray though just so I can go through it again properly.

Yep, the resemblance to Episode 4 was just a bit too much for my liking but it was a very safe tactic for Disney to do, to appease the core fans and restore the Star Wars brand.

I know why they did it, still an enjoyable movie for me and looking forward to seeing how deep they go into Episode 8. Which has just commenced filming.

Sooo a guy in my new team did his MCL and meniscus. Three weeks later, his brother in the same team and would probably be our captain has done his ACL and his meniscus too. He got his results today on his birthday.:oops:
Bloody hell Thats horrible! Did they get injured in tackles or just running on their own twisting motion?

We had our ffa cup game on the weekend. Sadly we lost but I did manage to score my first goal in our first team. Pretty pumped.

Have you had your ffa cup game yet?

This is helpful.

So finally got round to seeing the new Star Wars flick. What a disappointment that was - it was literally a re-telling of the original film! Can't say I'm particularly looking forward to the "First Order Strikes Back"

So wrong! The ending is very much styled to the end of ANH, but the rest isn't that similar.

VIII has already been confirmed to be an entirely unique idea btw, VII was styled in that way to draw people back in jaded by the prequels.

Pretty innocuous things hey. No one tackled them, it was just unfortunate twisting of the knee.

Whose your team? Our season hasn't even started so no FFA Cup games yet.

We had a couple of guys go down with ACLs in pretty similar fashion, really innocuous.

Kangaroo Point Rovers. I believe we are in the very first round of the FFA Cup, you guys probably come into it a bit later. First game of our season this weekend

I think I read that knee injuries are becoming more prevalent these days.

My old club plays in the prelim rounds next week then I think they start introducing the rest. It's a bit crap that it seems to be a lot of sides first official games aswell. No chance to string some games together first.

Has anyone seen Legend yet?

**** me, what a film that was. Tom Hardy deserves every accolade he gets for that and then more. Absolutely outstanding performance from Hardy.

You seen it yet Doctor Colossus ?

Heave heard Hardy was great in this, fantastic actor. But the reviews for the movie have been mixed.

I personally loved it but then I love the genre. Think British Goodfellas.

I can't even tell you how good Hardy was. The fact he played the main 2 characters is incredible - absolutely nailed both of them as well. Like it would have been weird to act but hard as well.

It's worth seeing the movie just for that acting performance.

Yep. Loved it.

Reviews were poor early on but I think they were well off the mark. He was exceptional and really should have received an Oscar nom.

The film itself is very clunky and messy but Tom Hardy's performance/s make sure it isn't bogged down too much. It's definitely not an Oscar contender for best film but I'm surprised Hardy didn't get nominated ahead of Eddie Redmayne.
