Some people struggle to moderate their voice range in different environments - I don't have a problem with that and you should be able to tune them out (their voice just becomes part of the ambient background). But some people like the sound of their own voice way too much and you get the feeling they want the attention of all those around them. The earphones have to go in when those people are around

Certainly was encouraging to see so many potential clients checking out the new place today. Hoping that we get a nice family that will take good care of the place.

Although today was the first time I actually checked out the shops. So many Asian restaurants, and only one place that offers steak, which was closed for lunch. That was quite surprising.

Does anyone live or work near the Carnegie-Murumbeena-Chadstone area that knows of a good place for steak?

The shops around Carnegie Station, they're all Asian restaurants basically. I almost thought I was in Springvale for a moment.

I'm asking if there is actually some good steak places in the nearby area?

Can't say that I do, sorry :D

Your place, or the folks? How did you afford to buy so young?

Remember the 'Would I cash out at 60k?' thing? Yeah, lol.

My folks, although I'll be contributing a decent part of my paycheck to it. I'm not doing anything else with that money since I've just paid off the car, and it would be great to get the sucker paid off significantly quicker.

The point I'm still trying to figure out is if I should pay off my student loan in one shot, or if I should hold onto the coin and wait until I secure the next step on the career path. I'm at the pay level where I am paying off my loan, so I'm chipping away, but I just don't feel financially secure until I get into a more senior role. At the same time, I could contribute more to the house, as well as having more pay to work with. It's a risky option though.

Went and saw Batman v Superman today. Enjoyed it.

Didn't like how they tried to shoehorn the Justice League into it, but I guess they had to somehow.

The movie suffered from too many things trying to be crammed in.

It became bloated. If it was dialed back slightly instead, would've been a much easier story to follow.
