So what's the general wait time on calling or texting a girl. Also do you call or do you text?

I went to my best mates christening for his new born today. They hired out a whole restaurant for afterwards and everyone went back there. It was free food and booze.

I notice this beautiful woman walk in who I didnt see at the christening earlier. She sits down at the table across from mine with a bunch of old people, all in their 50's and 60's. She's the only young girl at the table. Turned out two of them were her parents.

Turns out her parents and my best mates parents are friends but ive never met her before. We catch eyes quite a few times and she smiles at me. So I figure, I gotta go over and talk to this girl. So after about an hour I wonder over and end up sitting with her for a couple of hours just chatting and throwing out dope banter. The banter bit may or may not have happened.

Anyways everyone is leaving and she says today was fun, so I say we should do it again if you like. She says yeah id like that. So I grab her number.

But im so far removed from the game, I dont know how long is too long or too short or do you call or do you text?

I'd text rather than call. It's just a bit more casual.

I normally wait about a day or two as well. If they're genuinely interested, they won't care about it being 'too soon'.

People overthink all of this. "OMG he texted me 2 hours after we left, he is a psycho" "Ah ****, how long do I need to wait before it's acceptable" "Oh shit, I don't wanna be too keen, I better wait three days"

If you like her, you text her. You want to see her again, she wants to see you again. It's simple and plain to see.

Message her and say what you want to say, let it go from there.
