Brothers.

Draft Day is looming, so I thought we could discuss all the haps here. Usually I'm not right up with the draft aspects, but given I watched a plethora of the NCAA tournament whilst in the States in March, I'm better equipped.

I recall in the past we did our own mock draft where a poster played GM for each team. Any passion to repeat the process?

When does the trading window open? assume it as conclusion of finals.

Kanter is a funny one, stocks were rapidly rising two weeks ago and it seems this week they have fallen heavily based on old videos, lack of D and not having played college

I'm up for it.

From what I read it seems like this is a draft full of role players.

As a Pistons supporter, I really wouldn't be opposed to us trading away our lottery pick (we have pick #8), as there's nothing there that really excites me. Sure, you'd get a decent young player from it, but there's nobody in our range that's really "must have" IMO, either for our particular situation or in general terms. Looks to be one of the weakest drafts in years :thumbsd:

It really is, a lot of teams should of/be trading out trying to get picks for the next couple years (glad the nuggets did with the knicks) as in this draft there really isnt anyone that screams superstar potential while in the up coming drafts there are.

Guess ill get this started with a couple prospects.

Andrew Goudelock
PG
6'3" 200lbs, Sr. College of Charleston

Is projected mid to late 2nd round, but looks like one of those players that could surprise/make it in the league. As he can knock down a legit NBA 3 and get red hot. He also tested out better than expected physically at the combine.

Reggie Jackson
SG/PG
6'3" 208lbs, Jr. Boston College

First off he plays some D, he can jump out of the gym and he can hit the outside shot from time to time. Rebounds well for a guard and you could probably liken him to a George Hill? He has a near 7 foot wingspan also.

Kenneth Faried
PF
6'8" 225lbs, Sr. Morehead State

Love this guy i hope he falls to 22 for the Nuggets to draft, however i dont think he will make it there. The guy is a hard worker with a NBA ready body. Is probably the best rebounder in the draft and an elite defender. He is super athletic which allows him to run the floor very well. Defiantly isnt the most skilled but makes up for it in how hard he works.

Hey Magic fans, good draft in the 50's?

Should be able to draft recycled players.

You could take the "Toine at #50.

The Knicks are real keen on this guy meaning we wont get him :thumbsd:

That Goldilocks kid has silly range - thats Agent Zero type range.

Exactly what I was gonna say. Although, Agent Zero circa 2008 range. I think Shaq has better range than Arenas atm.

This draft isn't too different compared to the previous couple of years. 2-3 legit prospects, then the rest are role players. Next year is closer to 2003.

Other than the group of this years freshman that are going to come out (Sullinger, Jones, Barnes)

Anthony Davis. #1 Pick. 6'10". This game had 32/18 and 6 blocks. I think he is being compared to Garnett.

Michael Gilchrist. Top 10. SF, 6'6".

James McAdoo (Nephew of HoFer Bob McAdoo). 6'8" SF/PF. Top 5/10

Anthony Davis is one of those interesting ones the guy was like 6'3" not so long ago so he was playing the point then had a massive growth spurt so he is one of those really nice skilled big men.

Raps for number one pick next year. Cleveland will improve with two good picks this year and Minny can only get better with Rubio next year. Davis to the Raps! :D

Redraft Bargnani?

Also what would the Bulls have to give up in order to get a chance at drafting Marshon Brooks?

Williams, Kanter & Burks all working out in Minneapolis on Thursday.

The 3 point range in that first video was incredible.

What sort of names are the Bulls looking at?
