Ben Marsh started well I remember his first game when he kicked a bag against Sydney, played in our 1998 Premiership side, but yeah hasnt really blossomed into a good ruckman at AFL level, good luck to him

Now let's not be to rash in banishing "our" Ben to the scrap heap as if we don't recruit another big man next year to back up Biglands & Clarke in the ruck department then i'm afraid we shall have to rely on his expertise once again in 04,

& who knows maybe the next chance "our" Ben has to prove once & for all that he has the necessary heart to go with all that untapped natural ability he will at last take advantage of it,

You are spot on noddy. I just got back from the SANFL GF and the latest is that Crows have told Marsh they will keep him on the list for next year but he has to take a pay cut. No prices for guessing what Marsh will do

Just goes to show that we will not get a ruckman during trading period

Hopefully we can grab a couple of good prospects in the draft.

He was shocking for 3 1/2 quarters. I reckon he played some good footy for about 10 minutes at the start of 3rd quarter.

It was funny, Howard had him by the jumper at the start fo the 2nd half and was revving him up like macca did Rehn in 97. It worked for about 10 minutes. Marsh actually showed a bit of mongrel in him but it didn't last long at all

I thought Rutten gave Schell an absoulte bath today.

Todays GF demonstrated clearly to even those who know buggar all about footy, that Marsh is a dud player.

Just because he is tall doesn't mean he deserves a place on our list. Better off going for unknowns who have a heart.
