seem to remember that most scribes had the Bummers as top 2 and us back in the pack. Didn't sheahan have your hacks as #1? Still I guess they all had the Dorks as top 8!!

At least Essendon will give the finals a shake. And that has to be worth something.

They have a few good players coming back, who knows what can happen in September.

That said, it's most likely they will finish 6-8, win their first final and lose their second one vs Port Adelaide.

Wow Blakey. I dunno which looks worse - tipping the Pies for the Flag or tipping the Dees for the Spoon. Still very generous of you to consider me a scribe - I would have thought that a browse through that thread you gave us would reveal a lot of embarrassing predictions. BTW you didn't post the link to your.

I was actually referring to some of the pro's rather than hacks like us Blakey. Ther seemed pretty keen on the Bummers and the Dorks pre-season. Unfortunately Robert Walls has been proved right about the Pies - I don't expect Sheahan to be a successful with his Bummer prediction
