We dominated the first half and played well. Barlasser in particular was good. Bola in midfield didn't work imo but we will have Hackney back to take his place. Have we heard what the go is with McGree and Fry? Fry is the main issue because McNair at the back worries me :)
I think Carrick is keeping those close to his chest. Which strikes me as that they may well make the last game or two. Hopefully.

Another season just about done. I’ve actually enjoyed the season and think we did well considering the amount of injuries we had. A better start next season is essential if we are ever going to get promoted. Some decent players coming through…it’ll be interesting to see if we spend or sell.

At the start of the year when we sold anyone good and replaced them with kids, my hope for the season was to finish top 12, retain players in the off-season, and add a couple of quality signings. 1/3 complete.

Despite that middle patch which looked really awful, the season on the whole has been pretty positive. Latte Lath has been a great signing, as have Rav and Engels. Keep the core squad together and we should be in good shape for next year.

How we feeling about this year Boro fans? This is probably as optimistic and I've been for a while. Great coach, good depth and plenty of young talent. Signings are looking pretty good so far too. It's been a while...time for promotion? :)

Just reading my post above yours and I said we wanted to retain our good players and add some more. I think we've done that. I don't want to get too excited after the Leeds game (what sort of team did they put out?) and I can see us starting the season slowly again (hopefully not as slowly as last year) but I think once we get up and running, we'll give any team a go. Keep the squad fit through the winter, bring in a few more kids as backup, and who knows? While I don't see us "smashing the league", I think we're a good chance for play-offs this year. Maybe better with a little bit of lady luck.

With the draw we have a fast start is important I think...All very winnable games. That was the case last year and when we got some form the draw was tougher and then the injuries hit.

Leeds put a stronger side out then ours I think...we basically played our fringe players, so it was a pleasantly surprising performance. 2 weeks to go in the market yet, so lets see what we end up with and if anyone leaves. Conway in this morning too, once he is fit he'll be a nice addition I think.

Conway will be pretty handy in this league I think.

Well last year was rubbish 🤣 Not a bad start for the new manager though. Liked Nypan on the weekend. Team depth looks decent. Fingers crossed for a good season.

Bit of a heart breaker this morning. We outplayed Cov for large chunks, but everything is running their way atm...that Conway miss! Yet another new manager ready to start, keep playing at todays standard and we'll be a shot at promotion...
