The Official NBA Week 4 Thread

Good morning all.

No early games today, which is disappointing as I love waking up to a result or two.

Anyway, the Mavs visit Motown in a match that promises much. Its Detroits new players who provide the offence at the moment - Charlie V and Benjamin Gordon with almost identical lines yesterday. Who will stop Dirk? No one. Its the Mavs for me. Oliver Miller cup to Dallas.

The LA Kamans head to the Oklahoma City Durants. Tasty. KDlicious all the way.

The Rontos play the Suns who are looking to bounce back after their shellacking from the lakers. This should be a ripping game. 3 balls a plenty? Both average plus 40% behind the arc. Salivating contest. The Oliver Miller trophy should stay in Phoenix.

Houston v Lakers II. Last time the lakers survived a gruelling back to back OT games, culminating in a victory in Houston. Ariza has been very good for the Rox. Lakers to wear the whites and should win today in another close one.

Have a great week everyone

I'm a little worried about the Thunder. A great win against the Spurs yesterday, so they need to back that up with a win today. Preferably by 8 points plus, whilst the total score is above 179 points.

Surely the Thunder can beat the Clips at home....stranger things have happened though

Such as this!

Lionel Simmons, Sacramento, 1990-91
Shortly after being named Player of the Week in 1990-91,"L-Train" missed two games due to tendonitis in his wrists from overexposure to his Game Boy. Simmons may have been the first Nintendo casualty, but he wasn't the last. The next season, Seattle's Derrick McKey went down for seven games with the same affliction.

Haha, just checked some stats aboout that, and Jordan Hill is NYs :p

I am now glad the Nets lost the coin toss with the Bucks for the 10th pick in last years draft after finishing with the same record.

I doubt we would've taken Jennings with Dooling/Harris/Alston on the roster so at least with the Bucks taking him there is less "what might have been" agony.

We must of spurred Roddy on. 6-6 shooting, 14 points, 4 assists.

Needing the over 184.5pts combined for the Dallas and Detroit game...

...I can't help but feel physically ill at how many missed shots have occurred in the 4th.

Dallas and Detroit, you make me sick.

:P

EDIT: 5 secs left and I just need 2 pts!!

EDIT2: Thanks Jason Terry. *tip hat*

Subscribbled.

Durant having a hell of a game at the moment, just hit 40 points. OKC up by 1 with 3 mins left.

James Harden has be hugely dissapointing. I thought he'd be a walk in like OJ Mayo except better with the ball and he's barely doing enough to stay in the rotation.
