Yeah, the gulf is massive. Like no players playing in the A League could play in a top league in Europe. And if they can they quickly leave to do so which weakens the league.

Also playoffs are straight bullshit. There are no playoffs in football. You play the league, you finish top, you're the champion. That's it!

Considering Sunderland and other clubs were looking at bringing ALF across, I concur. The notion that League Two would dominate the A-League is bordering on stupidity.

Lower A-League players have walked into lower League One sides (Matt Millar for example).

There have been friendlies where a league teams have been easily the better side. Yeah they are friendlies but so what. Glory only lost 2-0 to Manchester United

From what I have heard 200k + for non marquee players (each team can have an australian plus international marquee).

Australian & international marquees on as much as 1-2 million a season, wages you would never see in League 2.

Castro was on 500k a couple years ago.

Looking down the list, I thought that CD Palencia’s kit was shitter than everyone else’s lower.... until I reached number 1. WTF?

Honourable mention and the first real shit kit I ever saw it football, the first football tournament I ever watched too.

The suggestion was to be guaranteed to stay at the club if the manager gets the sack. I'm happy to pm you the name - it's not exactly big news (the player already has a role at the club and will just be a coach) and the appointment will probably barely be noticed by those who aren't fans of the club.
