Never said it does. People who watch the news tend to look for media that tells them what they want to hear anyway. Whether that is Fox, CNN or whatever.

In the long run, people that just want the news without a political slant end up not bothering because its next to impossible to differentiate between news and PR nowadays.

I guess that's where organisations like BBC/ABC come in, but they tend to be as bad as anyone nowadays and have been for some time.

Nor did they tell the ABC to get on board. In fact the ABC was critical of parts of the Andrews government as they should be.

Labour have been critical over their reluctance to be critical of the conservative government because the conservatives keep threatening to pull funding. There is a distinct difference. And I'm referring to the MPs, they have continuously attempted to shut down any debate and anytime the BBC says anything critical of them they jump up and down and tell them to "get on the side of Team GB"
