Sportswashing plastic scum.
You'd think after seeing the pathetic City fanbase that Geordies would have some self awareness. But no. Washed by Saudi's within a year.

Stain on football.

The "pathetic" City fanbase is pretty much the same fanbase it's been since I first went to games, and the one some used to defend before City showed interest in Harry Kane.

We love our club, we're enjoying the football and successes we're currently having after decades in the doldrums.

Abu Dhabi occupies the minds of opposition supporters far more than it does any of the supporters I've spoken to over the past 15 years. In the pubs before and after games were not talking about Mansour or Abu Dhabi, we're talking about selections and formations and decisions.

Just the way it should be.

It's ok. You can justify sportswashing if you've gone through time in the lower leagues.
Good news Bolton fans, we accept any Arab gulf takeover you may get in the future. All kosher.

Interesting take that bears no relevance to what I said.

But I suspect you're not overly interested in hearing my thoughts on the issue unless they match your recently acquired post Kane thoughts.

So you can keep making digs at me, and City supporters in general. It's what you get on the internet nowadays. Its fine, I'm comfortable with my position on things.

Has plenty of relevance. The way you've got to the top being played off by stating that you've had tough times and we love the club is hardly anything more than a cop out. Most fans for most teams love their club.

But we're not all that far off in any case, mostly just seek the hardest thing to get, acknowledgment of what the CFG regime is. I know you're old enough to have support that pre-dates this regime.
And letting go of something you've come to love is too difficult for most people.

But sitting here enjoying the success without even as much as a comment here or there that you acknowledge the reprehensible behaviour of those that pay the bills puts that fandom in the same category that sparked this. The new found gold medal winning ability by Geordies to turn a blind eye to sportswashing if its going to bring them glory European nights and an uplift in performance and personnel.

You have contravened rules, you have acquired a new standing in football via dubious means, and you will likely have some impropriety in among the 115 charges sitting before the club. Things you defend relentlessly.

unless they match your recently acquired thoughts.
Which you've mentioned a few times but only one of us went back and checked. Never once applauded anything more than there being another club pushing through the FFP barrier that EUFA had set to inhibit new money challenging the established elite.

Christ, I was just saying that we are the same as we've always been. The obvious difference in our fanbase is that we never used to win stuff, now we do. Nothing at all to do with justifying anything. Just how I see my clubs supporter base having been to my first game over 30 years ago.

I'll enjoy the success of my football team exactly how I want to thanks very much. I don't expect Spurs fans to add a rider to every post talking about the life and crimes of Joe Lewis.

As for the Geordies, you can see a couple of kids on a twitter post as representative of a fanbase, that's up to you. I'll judge them on the ones I know and speak to.

You have contravened rules, you have acquired a new standing in football via dubious means, and you will likely have some impropriety in among the 115 charges sitting before the club. Things you defend relentlessly.

I posted a lot about the UEFA case because I knew a lot about the UEFA case. I knew the rules, and I was confident we hadn't broken them. Turns out I had good reason to be confident.

As for the 115 charges I haven't defended us against them relentlessly at all, that's an outright lie. I don't even know the specifics of whatsoever been charged with let alone whether the charges have any merit or not.

What I have said is that they are charges, not guilty verdicts and until we've had our day in court we have done nothing wrong. If and when the day comes that a verdict is reached then well either cop our punishment and move on with our lives or opposition supporters will have to find a way to move on with their lives.

And your support was appreciated.

i thought we didnt have fans

Germany are a waining power. Look at Bayern. 4 starting Germans for the biggest team in Germany. 7 of their 23 squad play outside of Germany too, one being Havertz. 5 are from Dortmund who were dumped out of Europe last year by a Graham Potter led Chelsea.

Gazzetta dello sport in Italy reporting Pogba has tested positive for a doping violation. Testosterone based.

Not sure of Gazzetta’s historical reliability but very serious topic for a clickbait non-truth.
