In other words give free reign to those players who deliberately feign injury to create stoppages & slow the game down.

I've created my own injury protocol rules

• Referee can stop a game only for a head injury / goal keeper injury or any other injury a referee assesses as serious.
• A player has 1 minute to resume the game after play has stopped. Any longer requires them to leave the field and complete a mandatory 5 minute recovery period or a sub can be made immediately.
• Cramp - do not stop game for cramps.

Awful.

You'll encourage players to carry on before they've had adequate treatment, risking injury.

You'll punish teams that have players injured in a tackle, forcing a substitution or to play a man down.

And what if two players get injured at once (collision). Do teams go down to 9? Or no goalkeeper.

Horrible idea, that results in no discernable benefit to the game at all.

Don’t know why but I watched his interview with Piers Morgan to see if he actually had any decent points but he just contradicted himself the whole time and it sounded like the whole thing has stemmed from the female commentator in Liverpool v Fulham saying Endo “put his laces through it” when he side footed it and if a man said that he’d get criticised but this woman didn’t.

I just rewatched the goal and she actually said the opposite. She said “most players would panic and put their laces through it but Endo showed great composure to place it”. So his whole rant was based off something that didn’t happen, he’s a ****ing idiot.
