TAA and VVD lol. Shows you how much these two watch specific teams.

or how stubborn your bradeslist is.
TAA is contentious and both said so. But VVD is a perfectly reasonable selection.

VVD has struggled this year and been responsible for more goals against than what you would consider normal. I would have gone with Pau Torres instead. It's pretty clear that both don't watch Aston Villa games. TAA is contentious and is wrong, everyone knows that and again shows you their lack of depth of watching games. They watch Saturday night, Sunday night and Monday night football, thats it. Most regular teams on that? Arsenal, United, Liverpool and City.

Liverpool rank #1 for goals conceded. Yet the two defenders listed in the team don't deserve it.
Can't select Robertson, Konate, Matip or Gomez and none have played enough and Tsimikas isn't TOTS calibre back up.

Arsenal rank #2 so Saliba is a clear choice.

You would post this if Liverpool conceded 0 goals for the whole season and Van Dijk scored 15 in the first 20 games.

yes always had microhpones, but not always hand held ones

In England? Ok I'll take your word for it. Comms will occasionally use headsets just as they've always done but the most common approach is a handheld mic. I'm not quite sure why this was so noteworthy.

I lasted about 10 seconds of Carragher crapping on. I have no idea why anyone takes any notice of him. Gary Neville is also a gobshite.

VVD is probably the best CB in the world. His positioning and anticipation, outpacing forwards, retaining possession and long diagonal passess with either foot. He's a big reason why Liverpool can play two at the back when in control of the ball.

TAA or Kyle Walker for RB. Different types of players. See how the season plays out.

Walker hasn't been great this season.

So who would you have as RB in your team of the season so far?
James made of glass, Alexander Arnold better than last year but couldn't have been much worse, Tripper fallen in a hole after a great last season, Walker having a down year after being the clear best for a decade (IMO) and possibly ever (debateable). White has been decent.

Can't really think of anyone else, so Alexander Arnold by default.

I think VVD has improved a lot from last year and has been pretty good. Still nowhere near his best. Not sure who else apart from Saliba and Gabriel who have played just as much and have performed more impressively.

TAA in a similar boat but what other right backs have been better?
