It’s been reported the incident itself occurred in January 2023. “Alleged racially aggravated harassment of a police officer”. Geez, terrible optics about this.

Managed to keep it quiet while the women's WC was on.

Apart from the extra two games in an already congested calendar, I’ve really warmed to this, I think it will improve the competition. Group stage has been largely a waste of time for years now.
Agreed.

+++ Being knocked out actually means knocked out. Improves integrity for 2nd and 3rd tier competitions.
  • Seeding pool matches so that strong coefficient clubs have to play each other and can't simply get a 'lucky' draw filled with low ranking clubs to easily qualify.
  • 3 tiers of pool play should see more matches mean something.

- Extra matches in the calendar.

My bug bear with European competitions has always been rewarding losing by allowing clubs to drop down to the next competition. And clubs have won, as well as compete deep in UEL after flopping in UCL. Doesn't sit well with me that part.

Yes, I thought the same.
TBF if you were famous and accused of something similar, or anything really, and the media hadn't got wind of it would you self report and cop the media scrutiny?

Athletes cop enough shit unfairly through the media to not want to add to it.
I'd have kept it quiet too as well tbh.

Seems strange the British media (being the shit campaigners that they are) didn't latch on to it before now.

That's not what happened. The alleged offence was 30 January 2023 but she wasn't charged until 21 January 2024.

There's a four day criminal trial planned to begin February 2025. We don't know what she said but it all seems a bit OTT and a strung out process for insulting someone.

Hold on to your hats folks. It's finally coming.

Bet you all can't wait.

Outside of city fans, surely this doesn't have a huge market? Watching a team just win everything isn't particularly interesting. Sunderland Til I Die was more engaging because of their failure.

Only 7 figures? Need the Emirati's to invest in Netflix to push that into at least 8 figures

The Bulls documentary work because you had compelling characters like Jordan, Rodman and Jackson. Nobody at City is that interesting, and it is way too close time wise for anyone to spill the beans about anything happening that isn’t sunshine and rainbows behind the scene.

And that's more a dynasty in hindsight, if they did one on City spanning peps reign that'd be more interesting in a sense.

What episode has UEFA seizing computers and shredded documents. I'll watch that one.
Thats on the history channel.

All those computers seized and shredded documents and all that evidence uncovered.
