**** it, let's just scrap qualifying and let everyone in. Cut down on international breaks and we'd have a two month tournament with a knockout stage that's "Round of 64".

A pretty big **** you to a bloke on 350k / week

When Chelsea cut Sterling’s next £350,000 cheque this week, he can afford to get himself photoshopped into the squad photo professionally.

Now that would be funny if he did that and posted it on social media.

Yes I can see how it would trigger PTSD for you. Apologies.

Not the Onana howlers, already seen my fair share of those. The music was what annoyed me. :p

I cannot remember a player dominating the Premier League/First Division like Salah, ever, and I've been around for a long time.
Haaland 22/23 is a staggering miss for Ballon D'or.

52G, 9A.
Premier League title.
FA Cup
Champions League
UEFA Super Cup
FWA footballer of the year
PFA team of the year
PFA player of the year
Premier league top scorer
European top scorer
Champions League top scorer
Nations League top scorer
UEFA Men's player of the year
FIFA team of the year

All because Messi won the World Cup while playing club football in a pub league.

It's insane there hasn't been a serious injury before now. Even the blue fence on the outside could be problematic if the wall wasn't there.

I wonder how many stadiums in the lower league wouldn't be up to scratch.

That’s shocking. It screams health and safety risk just by looking at the pictures, how that is acceptable by modern day standards is staggering. Entirely preventable, and now a young man loses his life. Awful for his family, devastating.

There was a similar incident a few years ago.

Crazy to me that nothing was done then.

My god, that's so much worse. If it wasn't obvious enough, they'd already had a genuine issue and did nothing to correct it.

Realistically, that ground should be shut down immediately to remove the wall. It's completely unacceptable in it's current set up.

You wonder how many stadiums in higher divisions have unsafe areas of the ground. Look at the slope at Old Trafford and the concrete ground at the end of it.

I know things are slightly different in the UK as there's more private ownership but sadly injury or death is often required for local council action.

Know this first hand with the sporting clubs I'm a part of.
