Seems some people can't accept the possibility that footballers joining their club might not be the best idea in the world.

Kane yes with us hopefully CL bound he'll be testing himself against the very best, he is also a sure starter in a system that suits him. But I think Barkley should be moving to a United, Arsenal or even us for him to go to the next level. Even City & Chelsea he'd be a regular so they wouldn't be a bad move for him either

If I didnt know better I'd say a young Liverpool player has had his head turned and the club are trying to get a pre-emptive strike in.

Don't see any other reason why a Liverpool employee would need to bring up a former player in the press.

If we were to break the bank for 1 signing this summer it would be him and not Berahino. 3 of Eriksen, Alli, Lamela, Son & Barkley behind Harry Kane would be fantastic

The other thing linked was that there was no "Madrid clause" in the contract as was rumoured. He never seems to have been too interested in a move though, which is good for us.
