How do you know?
Just from what I know. Like we paid 4.7m for Karius. That website has 4.7m. Same for Gini with 25m, Benteke with 32.5m, Firmino 29m, Gomez 3.5m... they are all just bang on.

I dont know how accurate it is for other clubs as I dont know for sure the numbers from other clubs. I assume if Liverpool is bang on, all the rest probably will be too.

Your over-simplifcation of transfer fees is cute.

Thanks man. I can only go by what I know. Sorry im not Liverpool's CFO and know all the in's and out's of each transfer.

But pray tell all of Hull's transfer dealings which I'm sure you totally know. :thumbsu:

That's basically my point, quoting with confidence a site that you believe is entirely accurate on your transfer fees is silly. No one knows the ins and outs of the details of deals, and what add-ons are counted when the deal is first announced, and whether they've been triggered. You can give a rough idea of a fee, for sure, but that's hardly reliable.

For example for us, Mason is reported as 13m when we sign him, making him our record signing, but that included appearance add-ons that I would highly doubt he met given he only managed half the season. How much we actually paid for him I have no idea. Same for Marshall I would think.

Unlike you though, I'm not lording around professing to know exactly what fees we paid for people.

Just seen apparently Spurs are only planning to allocate 3,000 tickets for Wembley matches (presumably to all other clubs).

Bit odd.

Could easily sell 10-15k away tickets to the LFC home game. Seems low considering the size of Wembley.

3,000 is the bare minimum mandated for 30k+ stadiums. Don't see what the fuss is really, 3,000 is typically the away allocation at OT, which has the highest capacity in England.

Have they said if they're limiting capacity or is it 3k out of the full 90k?

Makes sense to keep it low if they shut the top tier. Not point having more than 3k away fans in a 60k seat stadium. Assuming it's the full 90k I think they'll try and sell it to members first then GA then give the away side a late release of what's left.

Yeah one of the local Toon papers was saying apparently the Spurs site mentioned it as 6,000 but was a mistake and 3,000 is the actual allocation.

Shame as no doubt many Toon fans would love to make the trip - first and probably the only time in the next few years we'll get to visit the 'new' Wembley! :D

I think it just seemed odd given the capacity of Wembley is 90k(?) - unless Spurs aren't going to use the full capacity maybe and close off sections? Just figured it would be good to maximise revenue from ticket sales.

That could be the reason. Obviously things could change too so they might make more tickets available closer to the fixture as well.

Must be reasonably confident of strong crowds weekly as they applied for and were granted an extension of full capacity days by the relevant council. From memory can have 27 matches at full capacity.
Suggest it'll be the same pricing model as CL last season which saw over 80k from memory each match. Keep prices low and let more and more people through the gates.

I think there'll be late releases. For atmosphere and safety reasons they'll want to limit the away fans as much as possible. If spurs members and ga don't sell enough they'll do a late release to away fans. Happens at most larger stadiums

Hahah when was I lording around about it. I was just providing a counter argument when someone posted that we had spent 1 billion on players since the PL began which I thought was bullshit.

And went on about how every single one of your website's fees were right when you don't know that at all.

Says you. Not that you'd know of course.
You think they requested the Brent Council allow a full capacity increase from 5 matches to 27 matches just for shit n gigs.
Might have something to do with 58,000 on the waiting list. Jod knows best though.

Nobody know that. Unless you are in the inner circle of the club. But they match what most figures are reported as. Its the best we've got. Not sure what else you want me to do.
