Does anyone else not just see some shit keeping in that Asensio goal?

Nowhere near the top corner. Not whole heap of movement on the ball. Good hit getting it on target but like the commentator said the keeper does nothing. Maybe if he tried saving it that's just a long shot that gets tipped over. I don't think that's unsaveable at all

Do you think they are they a clear top 5? Are the likes of Sane, Jesus, Coman, Rashford or Renato Sanches on the next level down or pushing that group?
Apart from the euros with Portugal Sanches hasn't shown enough to put him in the top echelon. Still huge potential but was massively overhyped based on that tournament.

Jesus looks the real deal but still too raw, Coman has stagnated in the last 12 months. Sane and Rashford the closest imo.

His price tag differs to that though
His price tag is only relevant because he is "on the market".

If some of the others had publicly said they wanted to leave their club then you'd see similar 100m offers floating around. Asensio has a buyout (and won't leave Madrid anyway), Alli won't leave Spurs this season, Rashford won't leave United, Donnarumma has re-signed etc etc.

Interesting discussion by Henry on what attackers are trying to achieve in those moments where defenders/keepers are tracking them - commit them to 'freeze', and break their momentum, then make your move.
He's a fantastic pundit when talking about attacking players. His breakdown of Lacazette's first Arsenal game is great to watch:

Yeah, I really enjoy Henry in the media actually, he's fantastic at interviewing players too.

Has anyone seen the 25 years of the EPL special? With Keane and Henry involved it is very United and Arsenal focused but they provide some really interesting insights into that rivalry. It'd be right up your alley Cruyff14

Not yet but I remember the Keane vs Vieira one and really enjoyed that. Will give this a go.

Yeah, he is a great pundit. Knows exactly what he's saying. Keown is fantastic too,

I have not, got a link mate?

Enjoyed that from Henry.

Liverpool a lot of the time try to take the safe option in build up play and nothing ends up happening.

It's good to see Lacazette being a forward option and creating runs and if Arsenals ball playing defenders/mids take the chance and put Laca through on goal it cuts through all the crap build up play and puts a lot of pressure on the other teams defence.

It's interesting because you don't necessarily notice it during the game but then someone points it out in analysis and you think "why the hell didn't you play that pass!?". Most people who saw that game thought that aside from his goal Lacazette was pretty quiet, if some of those runs were honoured he may well have scored 2/3.

Once Xhaka/Ozil and even Sanchez learn how he plays I can see him scoring a lot of quite direct goals with those balls. Exciting stuff.
