Bennett Springs used to be a part of Beechboro or something. Only became a suburb a few years ago.

Weird as ****. Bushland either side of Reid Hwy, suddenly high density houses. The ones where they literally touch each other side by side. Then West Swan pops up again. The Swan Valley is quickly becoming a new high density haven.

Only Perth would think that the place to start high (well, medium) density development is the Swan Valley.

Meanwhile I live close to the city, close to transport infrastructure and it's zoned R20.

Hey man, the train line and freeway will get there and it'll become a thriving hub. Eventually. Maybe.

Another random thing that I just remembered in my time over there - why does your water taste like chlorine?

Because they put chlorine in it. You only notice it in certain areas though. Our place has always had decent tasting tap water, my cousin has an apartment in East Perth and it tastes like metallic sewerage.

Well yeah where we stayed in the city, obviously me or my gf didn't expect it at all. Had that first sip and spat it out in disgust lol.

By the end of our time there I was drinking it like I was a local :D

Can't say I really notice the chlorine in the water here, the stuff from the tap tastes pretty much the same as bottled water to me.
That's because the stuff in the bottles comes out of the same tap.

It wouldn't surprise me, I don't know why people bother buying bottled water all the time.

I bought one 1.5 litre bottle and just refill it from the tap.

So...for a couple of days, this crazy, water like liquid has been falling from the sky. I brushed it off at first but now...

Oh...I love this weather!!!
