True about having heaps of xx+ stuff & little else. Racks overflowing with stock, gives an impression there's a lot of stock but comes off looking like an outlet store at Harbour Town.
Also this, got a guernsey for one of the kids birthdays a couple of weeks ago. Wanted Chad's number, they had no 2's. Didn't know when they're coming & told me to keep ringing back until they're in. WTF?
Love everything about our club, but this is poor representation to any new members/supporters we attract.

It's really the only thing letting us down to do with the club. I hope they rectify it.

another point, i called the store at 11:10pm and the call got redirected to sydney to the port store website customer service. Really looks like the physical store is being given the lemonade and sars.

Waiting for an item I paid for in November. Keep getting told that it will arrive soon. The thing that bothers is me is I feel like I have to keep asking if it is in yet because if I don't they won't ever send it. Haven't once been told they will contact or post it to me when they get it in. Frustrating.

I don't know what the rationale of outsourcing the Megastore management was - especially just as we're coming into money - but it's bleedingly obvious the guys who've taken over are somewhere between awful and atrocious.

One good thing might be that sales have been that good that they can't keep up with demand.Or maybe the ISC suppliers are that slack that they can't keep up?If this is the case it is maybe because they arenT big enough to keep up with all of the orders from other AFL clubs and NRL clubs and whatever else they dabble in? Biting off more than they can chew maybe? How can people on Ebay sell ISC power gear that the megastore doesn't stock like the coaches teal training shirt?

ok so popped down there today, what an absolute joke of a business. No stock of anything whatsoever. plenty of stock for extra extra fat people and thats it. no sizes of new era caps besides huge sizes , the new polos are absolute trash and so are the hoodies. this years range is awful. The guy working there was about 12 years old and had metal all over his face. fantastic outward facing store. When i enquired about any stock they said "one to two months away". Jesus christ.

Check out the online store, most sizes available in all merch. The physical store is pointless and an absolute joke. what's worse is the place was packed, and NO ONE got what they wanted. No sales were made. Absolute trash and will never return.

Disappointing to hear about the Port Store.. but silver lining, I have a gigantic sized head so the bolded bit actually pleases me..

All of the normal sized merch sold out over Xmas and apperently they only get stock shipped to the store from the Sydney warehouse once a month!

I don't understand why they wouldn't get an extra delivery sent over even if it is just extra media polos and guernseys!!!

I suggested that the old function room upstairs at the prince of Wales is empty, why not use it as a storage area for stock... It was answered with a shrug of the shoulders.

On a positive note, we are selling more ISC gear than any other club they sponsor which should result in a better sponsorship deal in the next round of negotiations!!!

I can't say I've ever really had any positive experiences in that store.

Continually met with vague answers and zero stock of any common sizing.

Such a shame as I've gone in there on many occasions looking to spend some decent coin....Only to leave empty handed.

If you're reading this PAFC.. Please, PLEASE sort this out as this has been going on for a long time.

Yes. Yes it is.

The hiring of a new manager when Anton left was handled extremely poorly, I do know that. I personally know an extremely qualified person who applied for the job (managed a large well known department store outright and twice won national store manager of the year) and didn't even get an interview. In fact, she received a knockback within 24 hours of emailing her resume.

Yeah well.... I am without speech.

Its not as though its rocket surgery with the issues going on there. Knowledge of stock arrival dates, having adequate stock all the time and recognising items that are going to move more frequently than others (New Era caps for example) is hardly a difficult task to get right.

Its a shop for crying out loud. Get it right.

Agree with many, the Port Store is the only noticeable aspect that hasn't come up to par with the rest of the clubs amazing transformation.

It wasn't even on par when we were narrowly avoiding the spoon.

This is the old "we have a preferred candidate but HR is making us advertise anyway" situation.

I know it well.

Surely they'd have sales data to show what sizes they sell more of than other sizes, so can actually have a decent amount of that size available on the shelf.

'The Port Store - We exist to have big end of year run out sales for larger folk'.

I gotta say, that's been the case for years in pretty much everything.

1 x S
1 x M
8 x 3XL

"Hey are you getting in anymore large in this?"

- "Port who?"

and even still, as a larger bloke (I'm 191cm and 110kg), I usually wear 2XL t-shirts and jumpers, I've had to buy a 5XL polo shirt this year, only one that would fit, this years range has been poorly designed
