Your 2017 clash guernsey
(sorry about big pics it's straight from the port store)

I don't know if this is for the unpopular opinions, but I do not like the white at all!

Not that we have much choice.

Surprisingly enough I thought we might get the teal design for an away or clash Guernsey/

Love the clash. Dark background for Renault is better than the white on white jumper, plus the Oak logo looks better with the white on the back rather than on the front of the BiB.

Never bought a clash before but I'd come close with this one.

I love the white clash...I hope we have it as a genuine 'away' and wear it 11 times. The less I see of the BiB/PB hybrid the better!

We've somehow managed to combine two awesome things (BiB and the panel) to make something particularly ordinary and further blur our identity and highlight our insecurities in the AFL.

“Consultation with our supporters is important in these decisions, but we also believe it helps our jumper stand out more against clubs like St Kilda, Carlton and Collingwood – which have predominantly dark backs to their jumpers.” - KT

This is a fair point. Many times I've been watching AFL highlights and thought for a second I was watching Port, only to realise that it was St. Kilda a couple of seconds later. The number panel is unmistakably Port Adelaide and makes us unique from either view.

I really should've taken the time out to do the members survey because i'm absolutely gobsmacked that 85% of the members surveyed support the white panel on the back of the home guernsey. It is not just a majority it is an overwhelming majority, i'm in a state of shock.

What was the actual context in which they asked the question on this survey? Was it which back of the guernseys do you prefer? That might explain the results. But if the question was, which design suits the back of the guernsey more? The results are quite literally shocking.

I'm trying to decide whether i feel duped for buying 2 home guernseys last week at a cheap price and was told from the store that there were no changes to the guernseys other than the sponsors, or maybe i should feel privileged that i scored 2 awesome full black home guernseys just in the nick of time before they got mothballed.

I would've 100% supported a white number panel on the back of a prison bar away guernsey.

But i just can't help but feel it looks odd on this guernsey. It would be like putting a black number panel on the back of the clash.

I would never wear a white guerns because i'll slop a chokito roll all over it.

Just get him to grab you another from his stash at the club.

i wasn't sure where i stood on the All Black v White Panel argument because i love both. i wasn't for the idea of wearing the white panel away only or anything like that so i'm happy with the end result. it makes our jumper more Port Adelaide. the panel is a super unique thing these days, i thought Hawthorn should have never got rid, there is no better panel then white on black and no more successful. i think i prefer it much more tbh, it adds a lot of character, can't believe i'm saying all this about a white square on the back of our jumper but it does. i grew up seeing white blocks on the back of black jumpers, we all did, in front of us as kids at the footy blocking our view, it's engrained in our brains! this is surely the least amount of teal we'll ever have on our kit, it's badass i reckon, the balance is closer to right.
