That's what really shone out of me... in anything I've ever heard about him.

When I think of our midfield now in 3 years time, I get a bit excited. Seriously, think about the production line... Mitchell, Jones, Hewett, Heeney and Mills. Seriously going to struggle finding homes for all of them. Kennedy, Parker and maybe Hannebery are locks but outside of that I think it's game on

Definitely an interest in this guy.

Concerns about ground ball and in traffic though IMO. Poor exposed movement in traffic.

Can't have it all with pick 37 though.

That's some footage of Markov. I hear he kicks on his left in game to a reasonable standard.

Effective i50 in the footage on his left, that's something. Markov looks good, reckon we should call his name out. Son of an Olympian so hopefully mentally strong for AFL.

I'm with you. Heeney, along with Mitchell, Parker (and Mills next year) must focus on being inside midfielders first, outsider runners second. I think we're stacked for outside players but well short in the middle.... we really need some mongrel too. Not sure where it'll come from but we need more opponents put on their backside and questioning whether to move through the middle next time they have the ball, we miss Mumford in that respect

Agree. Get them both(Heeney and Mitchell) inside and keep the others honest. We need to get our title of 'clearance kings' back, with a healthy dose of 'mongrel', in light of the GF effort.

Honestly I reckon alot of people had forgot about him. I hope he gets atleast a dozen games next year.

I know his wraps, but he didnt inspire me with toughness in the games I saw him play in AFL last year. My memory is a little fuzzy. But he didnt stand out to me.
